Wounds UK 2017 was a great success
Wounds UK, one of the biggest wound care events in the calendar, offers excellent education sessions lead by some of the leading experts in the field, while allowing us to showcase our products and speak with and understand the challenges clinicians face at the fore front of wound care.
2017 has been a busy year for the ActivHeal team with the launch of a number of new products taking place this year. As well the work going on behind the scenes we’ve been out and about presenting at a number of congress, most recently at Wounds UK. One of the biggest wound care events in the calendar, the event offers excellent education sessions lead by some of the leading experts in the field, while allowing us to showcase our products and speak with and understand the challenges clinicians face at the fore front of wound care.
This year we supported the Made Easy Workshop: Managing chronic deep cavity wounds in the real world, an educational session focusing on the challenges chronic deep cavity wounds present. In addition, we published a Making the Case supplement, a summary of who we are and why our products should be considered, as well as a 37 patient clinical evaluation on the performance of ActivHeal AquaFiber Ag. Both publications are available in the November edition of Wounds UK, alternatively click here to read the Making the Case on Wounds UK website.
A total of eleven new poster submissions were presented at Wounds UK, covering our newer products, Aquafiber Ag, Aquafiber Extra, Silicone foam range and our foam impregnated with the antimicrobial PHMB. A variety of research findings were presented, demonstrating ease of use, cost effectiveness and most importantly the quality, performance and effectiveness of the ActivHeal range of dressings.

The sales team worked non-stop throughout the conference to promote the new AquaFiber Extra and as a result we’re pleased to say we’ve had one of the most successful year’s ever at this event.
As always the Wounds UK team provided us with a seamless event that has allowed us to showcase our products, meet with peers, whilst forming new working relationships that will help us shape the future of wound care at ActivHeal.
