Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc recently announced it has acquired Sealantis Limited, a developer of an alginate-based tissue adhesive technology platform.

The acquisition enhances AMS’s access to further internal surgery market opportunities as well as providing a platform to enter the US$1 billion internal sealants market. The company also anticipates the first product to enter the European market in 2021 with opportunities for multiple additional internal sealant products.
