A team of Advanced Medical Solutions staff took on the 55-kilometre Sandstone Trail in under 12 hours in aid of St Luke’s Hospice raising over £2000 for the charity.

The Sandstone Trail is one of the most iconic walking trails in Northwest England, stretching over 34 miles across some of the most stunning English countryside. It begins in the market town of Frodsham, Cheshire and finishes in Whitchurch, Shropshire.

While many day hikers choose to take on smaller sections of the trail at a time, the Advanced Medical Solutions team took on the whole 55-kilometre route. They also had the added challenge of aiming to complete it in under 12 hours.

As well as the 34-mile distance, the team had to endure 3500ft elevation, the equivalent of climbing Snowdon! We want to congratulate all of the hiking team along with their support crew on an incredible achievement!
