At ActivHeal®, we understand that now more than ever before, our clinicians, nurses, doctors and community care workers are stretched further than ever. Firstly, we wanted to send our appreciation to everyone working on the front line, who are working to tackle this unprecedented challenge to our nation and are mindful of the impact this is having on our world-renowned health care system.

 

 

Whilst we navigate through these unchartered waters, our priority is with protecting and supporting our healthcare workers and safeguarding our people. We are following the advice and recommendations of Public Health England and the World Health Organisation closely. 

 

 

We have established an internal task force to consistently evaluate the situation to develop and implement appropriate plans and guidelines to help mitigate the varying challenges that COVID-19 may bring. With the welfare of our staff and their families at the forefront of our minds, we have implemented a working from home policy for many of our Head Office staff where this has been possible. We are also working closely with our supply chain and warehouse teams so that the highest levels of health and safety are met. 

 

 

We understand that while we tackle this, there continues to be patients requiring wound management with a particular challenge for patients who may be self-isolating. As we know, 4.5% of the UK population is living with a wound at any one time. We want to assure you that our dedicated team are working hard to ensure we provide the same level of service as we have always done, supplying wound care products to the NHS.

 

 

We will continue to serve our customers with the manufacture and distribution of our products from our state of the art UK manufacturing facility based in Winsford, Cheshire so that clinicians can continue to support their patients and manage their conditions in order to achieve the best patient outcomes and quality of life.
