ActivHeal team showcase new products at Scottish Wounds.
The team recently attended Scottish Wounds, now in its 18th year, the event continues to provide healthcare professionals in Scotland with an opportunity to access high-quality education whilst networking with colleagues.
This year the ActivHeal team were able to showcase two new products. ActivHeal PHMB was launched in February and our most recent new product Aquafiber Ag, was launched in August.
Senior NHS Account Manager for Scotland, Cheryl Smillie-Paterson said “it’s always great to attend the Wounds events, especially when we have new products to promote. The event was really busy but I did get a chance to chat with some of the local TVN’s who were very impressed with the silicone foams, which we launched last year, as well as our new PHMB. In particular clinicians were impressed with the performance outcomes of the PHMB. Having a dressing that can cope with high exudate levels1 (31g 10cm2/24hr) whilst offering total eradication of challenging organisms within 24hrs2, gives them the confidence to treat patients with complex non-healing wounds. Now with a silver dressing to add to the range with the addition of the Aquafiber Ag we can support clinicians with even more choice in dressing selection”.
David Hibbitt Global Marketing Manager for the ActivHeal range said “the product family continues to grow and with new products in the pipeline we’re excited to be able to continue to offer clinicians cost effective wound care solutions that improve patient outcomes. We’re passionate about keeping things simple but effective and the work we continue to drive through is designed to help clinicians continue to offer a patient centred approach to wound care, whilst supporting them with university approved education. We will be again presenting or products at EPUAP in Belfast and Wounds UK in Harrogate. This gives us a great platform to get to know our customers and understand their needs, so we can keep on developing practical and easy to use dressings that do literally what they say on the box.”
