BBC Radio 4 aired an interview today discussing the current wound care crisis, likened to the obesity epidemic and compared to the complexities of treating diabetes, the debate talked around the issues stalled or delayed wounds pose to the NHS. Lord Phillip Hunt and Professor Richard White a Dermatology expert discussed the need for a National Wound Care Strategy in order to reduce the estimated 2 million wounds treated each year in the UK.
