2018 was a fantastic year for our fundraising efforts for St Luke’s Hospice. The team at Advanced Medical Solutions smashed its original 2018 year-end target of £5000, raising an incredible £10,552.35 for the St Luke’s Hospice appeal!

This final figure was down to the efforts of our committed team members taking on some huge challenges including the Yorkshire Dales 3 Peaks Challenge and of course the colourful Midnight Walk!

The Midnight Walk which takes in a 13.1 mile route through the streets of Nantwich and Crewe attracts hundreds of supporters each year. Members of the AMS team dressed in their 80s finest, pounded the streets through the night and raised thousands of pounds for St Luke’s Hospice. We are pleased to be sponsoring this inspiring event again in 2019. Watch this space for future announcements on how you can get involved!

The Yorkshire Dales 3 Peaks Challenge lived up to its name with a team of Advanced Medical Solutions staff embarking on a heroic 25 mile trek. They tackled the three peaks of the Dales including Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, climbing (and descending) over 2150 metres!

We are honoured to be able to support St Luke’s Hospice who provide vital palliative care to local people, giving support and refuge to them and their families in ways that go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. 84% of their running costs need to be raised through fundraising and donations, and with an overstretched NHS, their efforts are more important than ever.

As we begin 2019, Advanced Medical Solutions is looking forward to another great year of fun and challenging events to raise much-needed funds for St Luke’s. Thank you to everyone who helped achieve our incredible 2018 fundraising results!
